GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Pride put up a valiant effort in Grantham but were unable to contain the Messiah University Falcons Offense.

The Pride's final record was 20-21 on the season and 12-9 in the MAC Commonwealth.

BY THE NUMBERS

• Jack Balcer was unconscious this series, going 4-5 in the final game with three RBI's.
• Kevin Bukowski had a solid day, going 2-4 with a double and an RBI.
• Sean Burker delivered for the Pride, going 2-4 with a double and an RBI.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Pride grabbed the lead early in game two of the semifinals series. Jon Aman drove in the first run of the day in the top of the second with a sacrifice fly and Jack Balcer followed that up with a single to drive in two more. The Falcons swiftly responded, putting up their own three spot in the bottom half of the inning to tie the game. The Pride regained the lead in the top of the fifth after Sean Burke drove in a run with a  single down the right field line. Ryan Madden followed that up with an RBI single of his own to give Widener a 5-3 lead.
• Messiah Once again responded quickly, scoring four runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 7-5 lead. Widener got one of those runs back in the bottom of the eighth thanks to another Jack Balcer RBI single. The Falcons would add on two more runs in the bottom half of the inning to take a 10-6 lead. The Pride were unable to rally in the top of the ninth, ultimately bringing the 2025 season to an end.
