DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Widener Men's Cross Country is placed sixth on the Middle Atlantic Conference Cross Country Coaches' Poll, as announced by the conference office.
The Pride earned points in this poll, just 13 points behind Stevens who came in with 168. Lebanon Valley would take the top spot with 225 points and all 15 first place votes. Just below the Pride is York with 145 points and Eastern with 124.
This year the Pride is led by
Zachary Rementer,
Michael Carolan, and
Gavin Kelly. Rementer would mark a new personal best at Lehigh's Paul Short Run on October 3 with a 26:26.7. Carolan's season marks of 27:17.7 slates him less than a minute off his personal best set two years ago. Lehigh's Paul Short Run showed another personal best as Kelly clocked a 26:30.5.
This year's conference championships are set for Saturday, November 1
st, with the men's race starting at 11 a.m. in New Britain, Pa.
