A quick turnover by the Pride led to York's eighth goal of the afternoon. Widener was assessed a yellow card. Saves by Rosini gave the Pride momentum on defense. However, Widener was not able to turn that into good shots on offense. With under seven minutes in the half, the Pride had a good defensive stop. A free-position shot by the Spartans was missed, but they scooped up the ground ball. York then gave the ball away, leading to a good Pride clear. York's last goal of the half came with 4:10 remaining. At the half, York led 10-0.

Maddie Reeser began the second half in goal for Widener. A turnover at about 13 minutes remaining was costly for the Pride, which resulted in another York goal. Even though the Pride put together a few good drives, they could not find a scoring drive. After Widener was given a yellow card, the Spartans scored their twelfth goal of the day. It was not until under one minute left that the Pride finally broke through York's defense for a goal of their own. A good clear led to a Katie Ward goal on a Jamie DeHaven assist. York was ahead 12-1 through three.

The Spartans began the fourth quarter with two missed shots, but they cashed in on their next two scores within three minutes of each other. Although the Pride continued to struggle against York's high-flying offense, they never gave up. York would finish the game with two final goals. Mikayla Cox won the final draw control.
