ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Widener University women's lacrosse team scored five unanswered goals in the span of less than eight minutes to stun the Lebanon Valley Dutchmen 12-10 on Saturday afternoon.
 
BY THE NUMBERS

• Gab Cohen led the Pride with five goals and added an assist for six points.
• Caroline Kelley scored twice.
• Emma DiGilio had a goal and three assists. Catherine Scott scored once and added two helpers. Alexis Colella recorded a goal and an assist.
• Katie Ward and Chelsea Forsyth each found the back of the net for the Blue and Gold.
• In goal, Maddie Medve made six saves and added three caused turnovers.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Following an LVC goal with 21:13 remaining, neither team cracked the scoreboard for nearly 10 minutes. Down 10-7, the Pride started the comeback as Kelley netted her first with 12:34 to go.
• Cohen pulled Widener closer at the 8:42 mark with her third of the day.
• Not stopping there, the Blue and Gold tied the contest on a score from Kelley at 7:16. Cohen finished off the comeback finding rope at the 5:57 and 5:08 marks, the latter assisted by DiGilio.
• Widener did not allow a goal in the final 21 minutes of the contest, allowing just six shots and forcing Lebanon Valley into seven turnovers.
