HIGHLIGHTS

  • Kristi Rohrer also had a hat trick, scoring three times and winning two draw controls. Two of her goals came on the free position.
  • Melanie Bert also had a three point game with a pair of tallies and a helper.
  • Emma DiGilio and Meg Steffney each had two goals for the Pride.
  • Katie Hayes made 16 saves in net.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After a quiet start to the game Stockton used a 3-1 run to take a 4-2 lead with 13:27 to go in the first half.
  • Rohrer responded 44 seconds later to pull to 4-3. Neither team found the back of the net again for 10 minutes before Widener struck twice before the half only to see the Osprey have the final word as the teams went into halftime knotted at 5-5.
  • With the Pride leading 7-6, Stockton ripped four in a row to take a 10-7 lead. The Blue and Gold rallied as a pair of goals by Lynch and one by Bert tied the game at 10-10 with 4:10 left.
  • Down a score, Rohrer completed her hat trick, finding rope with just under two minutes to play.
  • The Osprey had the final say, however, as Gabby Ojeda scored the game-winner with one second left on the clock.
