Senior Ernie Pitone of the men's indoor track & field team placed third overall and first among collegians in the mile by punching in a time of 4:12.47 at the Villanova Open this past Friday. His adjusted time of 4:15.71 ranks seventh nationally in Division III and is also the top mark by a Middle Atlantic Conference student-athlete this season.
