Kayla Herr helped the field hockey team register a 2-0 record this week by factoring into all six of the team's goals. She began the week by scoring both goals in a 2-0 victory over Drew on Wednesday, Sept. 7. Herr followed up that performance by contributing two goals and two assists in Friday's 4-3 overtime win over Neumann on the road. She most notably scored the equalizing goal with just 1:30 remaining in regulation to force overtime before setting up freshman Sam Scoma's game-winning marker in the 74th minute during the extra session.

Herr also became the first player to factor into four goals in a single game since Meghan Garvey finished with three goals and one assist in a 5-3 triumph over Hood on Oct. 26, 2013. Through four games, she has 12 points on five goals and two assists and has factored into seven of the team’s nine markers.
