Ernie Pitone earned All-America laurels by finishing eighth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:46.60 at the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships to earn the final spot on the podium over the weekend. He also became the program's first All-American in all three seasons during the same academic year under the leadership of head coach Vince Touey since Macaharia Yuot accomplished the feat 10 years ago in 2006.
