Senior Academic All-America Maggie Karmeris went 1-1 last week for the field hockey squad. She played solidly over 85 minutes and made 13 saves in Widener's tough 2-1 double-overtime loss Thursday at Neumann. Karmeris came back with five saves in 90-degree heat Saturday for a 1-0 shutout over Swarthmore.
