Laura Harris was tabbed Widener's Women's Athlete of the Year.

Harris had a career that most student-athletes dream about.  She is a four-time All-America that included finishing 16th in the 100-yard backstroke at this year's NCAA Championships, her third consecutive appearance at nationals.

The 2013 trip saw Harris gain All-America status in the 100-yard butterfly, and Honorable Mention All-America standing in the 200-yard backstroke and the 200-yard IM.  By doing so, she became the second student-athlete in school history and the first female to become a three-time All-America in a one-week period.

Harris also has 20 Middle Atlantic Conference titles to her credit, including six her junior campaign in 2013.  She was tabbed the Women's Most Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet three times (2011, 2013, 2014) and was the league's Rookie of the Year in 2011.  Her awards in 2011 helped the Pride win the second MAC title in program history.

She graduates with 10 school records to her name including seven individual marks and three with relay teams.
