Senior Erica Szpynda won twice last week at the Middle Atlantic Conference Track & Field Championships, raising her total of league crowns to six.  She won her third straight outdoor shot put title by covering 45’ 1.75” and her first discus crown at 131’ 11.”  The MAC Women’s Track & Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year will compete next week at the ECAC Championships and almost certainly will qualify for the NCAA Championships the following week.
