Freshman Joe Deighan on Sunday was named Middle Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Year, helping Widener win its 11th league title. He won the 1,650-yard freestyle and 800-yard freestyle relay. Deighan also broke the school record in the 200-yard IM, placing second to lead Widener to a fourth straight MAC crown.
