Widener University Athletics

Junior Mac Nestler played great last week with a .667 save percentage and 22 saves over 90 minutes.  He only played 30 minutes Wednesday at Immaculata, getting six saves in the Pride's 16-7 rout.  Nestler simply was outstanding with 16 saves, two short of his career best, in a tough 8-7 loss Saturday to third-ranked Dickinson.  This included a great save of a point-blank attempt from Marek Laco with four minutes left in the second quarter of a tie game.  Nestler also was named Commonwealth Conference Goalkeeper of the Week.
