Jamie Ballew from the volleyball team was picked Widener's Female Outstanding Athlete of the Year.
Ballew was a program-record four-time All-Commonwealth Conference pick and graduates first in school history with 4,138 assists, fifth with 1,222 digs and eighth with 204 blocks. She was named first team all-league in 2009, second team in 2008, 2010 and 2011 as well as the conference Rookie of the Year in 2008.
She helped the Pride reach the conference tournament all four years. Last season, the squad closed second to have a home conference tournament match for the first time in school history.
