Sophomore Laura Farrar was Named Most Outstanding Swimmer at the MAC Championships with six victories. Won the 100-yard breaststroke in a meet-record 1:05.87, breaking her own mark she set in the preliminaries to be a provisional qualifier for the NCAA Championships. She also won the 200-yard IM in a meet-record 2:09.39 and was a “B” qualifier in the 200-yard breaststroke by winning in 2:23.89. Farrar also was part of the winning 800-yard freestyle relay for the second straight year, stopping the clock in a meet-record 7:49.43, the 200-yard medley relay squad that won in a meet-record 1:47.98 and the 400-yard freestyle relay that stopped the clock in a meet-record 3:33.42 for a second straight league title. This helped the Pride finish second overall.
