Sophomore Joanna Persiano closed with a career-high 22 points on 6-of-15 shooting, hit a career-high six 3-pointers and scored 13 points in the second half Saturday in Widener's 68-63 triumph over Rowan. She also was picked the Commonwealth Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
