Senior Nicole Merton closed with 32 kills, a .467 hitting percentage, nine blocks and two aces over two matches for the volleyball team. She also had 16 kills and no errors for a .696 hitting percentage against Lebanon Valley to help Widener clinch the second seed in the Commonwealth Conference. Merton also was named the conference Player of the Week.
