Junior Sean Saverio went on a tear by hitting .457 (16-for-35) with six extra-base hits and 12 RBI over nine game, helping Widener go 7-2. He also posted a 1.000 fielding percentage with 23 putouts and three assists. Saverio rapped three hits in game two against Hanover on February 27 that included two triples and a double. He also had two hits in each of his last five games and sports a 10-game hitting streak dating to last year.
