Widener University Athletics

Megan Purcell made five saves Thursday for field hockey in Widener’s 3-2 victory over Richard Stockton.  She also was named Commonwealth Conference Goalkeeper/Defender of the Week.  Purcell has been solid for the Pride this season in notching four victories and a .774 save percentage.
