Freshman Ryan Chance on Saturday was named the Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor Track & Field Rookie of the Year. He won the triple jump at 14.17 meters to provisionally qualify for the NCAA Championships and the long jump by covering 6.79 meters. Chance also closed second in the 55-meter hurdles in 8.10 seconds. This helped the Pride captured their 14th MAC Indoor title in school history.
