Junior Steve Cull (Havertown, PA) scored four goals to lead Widener to a 13-3 Middle Atlantic Conference win over Misericordia in Dallas, PA.

Widener took the lead just over two minutes in when Ryan Shewell (Ellicott City, MD) assisted fellow sophomore Nate Meyer (Jenkintown, PA).  #Kevin McLemore# (Upper Darby, PA) assisted fellow junior Kevin Rider (Shamong, NJ) less than a minute later for a 2-0 lead.

After Lee Blair scored for Misericordia to make it 2-1 with 8:43 left in the first quarter, Widener tallied nine unanswered goals over the next 46 minutes to take an 11-1 with just under eight minutes left in the game.

Senior Cory Malampy (Ridley, PA) scored twice for the Pride (6-6, 5-2) and added two assists.  Freshman Josh Fox (Lower Merion, PA) also scored two goals.

Freshman Bobby Schluter (Kennett Square, PA) recorded the win, making 11 saves and allowing just one goal in 54:35.

Kyle Calabro had a goal and an assist for the Cougars (3-9, 1-6).

Widener on Wednesday travels to Grantham, PA for a conference game against Messiah, beginning at 7:00 pm.
