As a supporter of Widener, you play an equally important role in the athletic and educational experience of our students. We welcome you to join our team and help our current student-athletes in their pursuit of another outstanding year of athletics by joining the Blue & Gold Club.
The Blue & Gold Club shares a strong commitment to athletics and the role that it plays in the overall educational experience. Through their continued dedication, Blue & Gold Club members help to provide the financial support needed to sustain and enhance the athletic experience of our student-athletes.
Funds secured by the club are allocated to enhance several areas within the athletic program:
* Awards for teams and individual athletes.
* Purchase of athletic equipment that cannot be supported by the traditional budget of the athletic department.
* Improvement and enhancement of the athletic facilities.
* Support and augment team travel options.
Members of the Blue & Gold Club are working together to support the athletic aspirations of our students. They will also be able to enjoy the following benefits of membership:
* Social gatherings at designated athletic events.
* Blue & Gold Club Newsletter and other association correspondence, which helps keep members connected.
